Sabrina Juran

Technical Specialist, Population Data and Analysis, UNFPA

Sabrina Juran works as Technical Specialist, Population Data and Analysis with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) since 2008. During her career at the Fund, Ms. Juran has worked in all major areas of the field of sociology and demography. Within her capacity, she works on supporting countries in conducting traditional statistical exercises (population and housing censuses, demographic and health surveys, etc.) and new innovations in the area of big data, digitization and communication, particularly developing capacity for utilizing new methodologies and techniques for sustainable development. In addition to her work at UNFPA, Ms. Juran is currently pursuing her Ph.D. studies in Sociology at Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany with a projected graduation of October 2015.
