NUEVA ALIANZA
Data-Pop Alliance se complace en anunciar su nueva alianza con la Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo (AECID), la cual tiene el objetivo de apoyar la inclusión de fuentes de Big Data en proyectos de Desarrollo Sostenible por parte del sector público en Latinoamérica y el Caribe.
El acuerdo, firmado en Septiembre 2020, tiene el objetivo de fomentar y fortalecer las capacidades técnicas de los oficiales de gobierno en esta región. Para ello, desarrollaremos cuatro talleres de formación profesional en Bolivia, Colombia, Uruguay y Guatemala, así como y un estudio regional exploratorio enfocado principalmente en Bolivia, El Salvador, Perú, República Dominicana y Guatemala. Los talleres se desarrollarán en torno a los siguientes ejes temáticos: el uso de Big Data para el Desarrollo Sostenible; Big Data y análisis de pobreza en Latinoamérica y el Caribe; Big Data para el cambio climático en la región; y por último, el uso de estas herramientas para el análisis de migración. El proyecto tendrá una duración de dos años.

Sobre AECID: Es una entidad de derecho público adscrita al Ministerio de Asuntos Externos y de Cooperación de España por medio de la Secretaría de Estado de Cooperación Internacional y para Iberoamérica (SECIPI). PARTNERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT
Data-Pop Alliance is pleased to announce its partnership with the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID in Spanish), which supports the inclusion of Big Data sources in Sustainable Development projects put forward by the public sector in Latin America and the Caribbean.
This agreement, signed in September 2020, has the particular goals of fostering and strengthening the technical capacities of government officials in said region. To do so, we will develop four professional workshops in Bolivia, Colombia, Uruguay and Guatemala, and a regional exploratory study, focused mainly in Bolivia, El Salvador, Perú, República Dominicana and Guatemala. The workshops will touch upon the following topics: the use of Big Data for sustainable development; Big Data and poverty analysis in Latin America and the Caribbean; Big Data for Climate Change in the region, and the use of these tools to analyze migration. The project will extend for two years.
