Arwa ElGhadban is a Research Affiliate with Data-Pop Alliance. She holds a dual BA in Political Science from the British University in Egypt and London South Bank University in the United Kingdom. Her BA thesis discusses the impact of automation and Artificial Intelligence on the American workforce in relation to the rise of populism. She is currently studying for an MSc in Politics and Technology at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) with a special focus on sustainable digital transformations. Her professional experience includes working under several UNHCR projects that tackle sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), as well as economic empowerment for refugees and asylum seekers. Her topics of interest include sustainable development, ethics and politics of technology, migration and gender equality.
