Brianna Dwyer

Brianna Dwyer is a Junior Software Developer with a professional background spanning mental health employment support, social care, and learning disabilities. Most recently, she worked within the NHS, supporting individuals with mental health conditions to access and sustain employment. Her earlier roles focused on empowering people with learning disabilities and autism to navigate systems, live independently, and access inclusive opportunities.
She later pivoted into software development through an intensive full-stack bootcamp, where she built dynamic web applications using modern tools and frameworks. Her transition into tech reflects a drive to build accessible, thoughtful solutions that serve diverse users and communities.
Blending her people-focused background with technical skills, she brings a unique perspective to digital problem-solving—one that prioritizes empathy, usability, and social impact. She is particularly interested in how data and technology can be used ethically to close opportunity gaps, empower underserved populations, and foster equity.
Her passions align with DPAs mission to leverage data for social good. She is especially drawn to conversations around the digital divide, ethical tech, and the role of inclusive design in creating fairer systems.
