Charlotte is a Data Scientist Intern at Data-Pop Alliance. She holds a BS in Physics and Computer Science from McGill University in Montréal, Canada, and is now pursuing her MSc in Big Data Management and Analytics through the Erasmus Mundus program BDMA, taking place at three different universities across Europe. Now studying in Barcelona, her current studies focus on Big Data Fundamentals and Machine Learning as well as its applications to assessing the viability of business projects.
She has experience in Artificial Intelligence research, Data Analysis through astrophysics research, community organizations work, sustainability consulting and teaching and education with different voluntary roles, including with the organisation Girls Who Code.
Through these voluntary roles, she pursues her commitment to promoting gender equality and access to education, and aims to use her knowledge in Data Science to harness the power of data in that direction. She is passionate about gender empowerment, education and the social impact of technology, and is determined to leverage her skills to contribute to the mission of Data-Pop Alliance.
