Chloe Giloppe

As a first-year student at McGill University, Chloe is actively engaged in pursuing a BS degree in Environmental Science, with a minor in Political Science. Within the sphere of Data- Pop Alliance, she is involved in multiple projects, each evolving extensive literary reviews to help bridge the gap between our evolving environment and socio-political issues. She has already participated in events that addressed the current environmental emergency such as Model UN where she debated and drafted clauses with the help of her peers which sought to propose solutions.
Her primary responsibility entails conducting comprehensive literature reviews, encompassing a broad spectrum of academic sources ranging from peer-reviewed articles to governmental publications. This is essential for informing the direction and outcomes of our projects, facilitating the identification of emerging trends, best practices, and gaps in current knowledge. Employing an analytical lens, she works to discern the intricate interplay between environmental phenomena and political dynamics. By synthesizing diverse perspectives and scholarly insights, she aspires to obtain and expose a nuanced understanding of complex issues and expose the overlap between seemingly unrelated topics.
In essence, her time at Data-Pop Alliance will help her aspirations to effect positive change in the world and help fight the various battles that were brought up by the United Nations Sustainable Development goals. She hopes to continue to explore different ideas and perspectives which would help lead populations towards a better future.
