As an advisor for the DPA Data Feminism Program, Elettra actively supports the program’s strategy and the mission to expand the ever-growing data feminism network. She has a passion for leveraging data to shape, evaluate, and implement policies and practices geared toward mitigating gender inequities and combating gender-based violence.
Elettra Baldi is also a Partnership Associate at Zenysis Technologies, a tech start-up that harnesses cutting-edge technology and strategic partnerships to unleash the potential of data in addressing global health challenges. There, she supports business development, partnerships, and communications.
Before her current role, Elettra contributed her expertise to non-profit organizations, such as Open Data Watch and the Center on Gender Equity and Health within the Division of Infectious Diseases and Global Public Health in the Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) where she worked to monitor and enhance the availability of high-quality, timely statistics. Her efforts aimed to facilitate policy analysis and foster progress toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Elettra has completed a master’s in public policy at the University of Southern California. She holds a BA from George Washington University in International Affairs with an International Development concentration and a minor in Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies.
