Evelin Lasarga

Evelin Lasarga is a Project and Research Manager at Data-Pop Alliance. She holds an MSc in Economics from Universidad Nacional de La Plata (Argentina) and a BA in Economics from Universidad de la República (Uruguay), and is currently pursuing a PhD in Economics from an inter-university program (Spain). Her research has been focused on various aspects of international development; particularly social mobility, inequality, poverty, and public policy. Before joining DPA, she worked for the Uruguayan Government as a Consultant on public policy evaluation, on topics related to education, labor market, taxes, social transfers, and behavioural economics. She also worked at the Universidad de la República as Assistant Professor in higher education programs. Evelin is passionate about equitable and sustainable human development and the social impacts of technology.
