Guillermo Romero is a Researcher and Data Scientist at Data-Pop Alliance. He was a fellow and has taken courses at McGill University, the University of Montreal and the University of York. He did postgraduate studies in bioinformatics (PhD Candidate) at the National Autonomous University of Mexico and holds a BS in biology at the Autonomous University of Puebla. He has collaborated on geoinformatics projects with the Observatory of Citizen Security and Social Cohesion (Mexico) and on computational biology with the Karolinska Institute (Sweden) and the National Institute of Public Health (Mexico). He is interested in geographic information systems and complex networks as resources to better understand social challenges.
