Jade Greer

Jade helped build Data Feminism Network in 2020 when she was a Master’s student at UBC Sauder in Vancouver, Canada. Since her undergrad in English Literature and Gender, Race, Sexuality, and Social Justice at UBC, she has always had a passion for social justice and feminist theory and was driven by a mission to make workplaces more equitable and inclusive. As the Director of Strategic Initiatives at DFN, Jade created global partnerships and was the facilitator of the DFN Book Club and writer of the DFN Study Guides. Her goal was to make complex data feminist principles accessible and applicable to a wide audience.
In addition to her current board advisory role with DPA’s Data Feminism Program, Jade works closely with university students as an Early Talent Recruiter at QuadReal Property Group, a global commercial real estate company established to provide pensions for public sector employees in British Columbia. Previously, Jade was a Student Recruiter and Advisor for business master’s programs at UBC Sauder. In the field of HR, Jade strives to leverage data and technology in ways that empower marginalized groups and challenge rather than reproduce existing inequalities.
