Johanne Bacheron

Johanne Bacheron is a Research and Communication Intern at Data-Pop Alliance. She holds a PhD in Economics from the Aix-Marseille School of Economics (AMSE), where she focused on the interrelated dimensions of gender inequalities in the workplace and in the private sphere. Previously, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Turin, studying the anticipatory effects of pension reforms on labour supply.

Her work centres on labour, gender, and family economics, and she specialises in policy evaluation and data analysis. She is interested in studying socioeconomic and intersectional inequalities, applying econometric methods to understand individuals’ behaviour and well-being.
