Sambi Emmanuel Kama

Sambi Emmanuel KAMA is a Research Assistant with DPA’s “Technology and Democracy” Program. His research focuses on disinformation in the Sahel and particularly in Burkina Faso. He is a lawyer and holds a double MA in Transnational Migration (University of Lille) and Political Science (Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca).

In the framework of the Master in Transnational Migration, he researched the vulnerability of women of international migrants who remain in the departure areas, with the case of the Bissa women of Béguédo (Burkina Faso) as an illustration. This work earned him an excellent mention with appreciation from the members of the jury. He also conducted research on Canada’s migration policy and the internationalization of armed conflicts (example of Sudan).

He is interested in legal issues related to digital technology, human rights, global geopolitics and international relations.
