Mateo Rojas

Mateo Rojas is a Project and Research Manager at Data-Pop Alliance. He holds a BA in Political Science from the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia and is currently studying for a MSc in Applied Economics. Prior to working at DPA, he was a Research Assistant for “Congreso Visible”, tracing bills and laws that were passed through the Colombian congress; later he was a Research Assistant at Duke University, studying the agenda setting process in the United States Supreme Court; he also was part of the Political Section of the Canadian Embassy in Bogotá, where he was responsible for writing reports on diverse subjects such as security, economics, politics, cultural diplomacy and human rights violations in Colombia. His main interests revolve around public policy oriented research on security, education and land reform.
