Talla Ndiaye

Talla Ndiaye is the Director of the Just Digital Transformations Program at DPA. He is an expert in computing and information systems with a focus on Big Data and has over a decade of experience in the field. He is a double graduate of Ecole Supérieure Polytechnique of Dakar and Supinfo International University of Paris. Talla was in charge of the Digital Entrepreneurship and Youth Employability Program, which aims to equip young people with digital skills and support them in entrepreneurship at the Ministry of the Communication, Telecommunications and Digital Economy of Senegal. Formerly, he served as the Deputy Program Manager at Orange-Sonatel and Analytics Technical Consultant in Paris. Talla was also technical coordinator and contributor to many sustainable development projects with data technologies, such as D4D with Orange Labs, OPAL (Open Algorithms). He also acted as a coordinating member of the AfricaTechUp tour initiative, which aims to introduce young Africans to Big Data and Artificial Intelligence. Additionally, he was nominated as an Ambassador of the Next Einstein Forum, with the goal of leading public engagement activities to encourage scientific and technological teaching, research and innovation. 

He is passionate about the use of data intelligence to advance public policies to boost innovation and contribute to Sustainable Development Goals, especially in Africa.
