ADE and Data-Pop Alliance have joined forces to create WIND-MEAL (Whole-of-Institution Data-enabled Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning), a portfolio of tools and services aimed at changing the M&E paradigm and practices of institutions and organizations.
Despite improvements over the last years, many current M&E efforts still focus on assessing activities and outputs rather than rigorous measurement of impacts, and suffer from poor design with consequences on data collection and data management systems. Eventually, these systems generate little actionable data analysis to support evidence-based decision processes and are not supported by adequate cultural incentives for learning and adjusting.
These shortcomings are especially problematic given the emergence of new opportunities brought about by the 4th Industrial Revolution and new demands for greater accountability and efficiency.
WIND-MEAL will leverage our domain expertise and combine traditional and novel analytics approaches to help client organizations measure and enhance their impact. WIND-MEAL is geared towards organizations willing to change mindsets and systems to deliver better results to their stakeholders.
