National Big Data Strategy for Colombia
Sobre el proyecto
Desde el 2017, MIT y Data Pop Alliance han estado ofreciendo apoyo técnico al Departamento Nacional de Planeación (DNP) de Colombia e iNNpulsa para diseñar, desarrollar e implementar la primera estrategia nacional de Big Data en el país, misma que será presentada al Presidente de Colombia en 2020.
MIT and Data-Pop Alliance are providing technical assistance to the Department of National Planning (DNP) of Colombia and iNNpulsa, to support the design, development and implementation of the country’s first ever national Big Data strategy to be presented to the President of Colombia in 2020.

This study focuses on the potential economic and social benefits in the different areas of the Big Data ecosystem. The first part of the document discusses the limits and benefits of the Big Data ecosystem, as well as how to measure the value it generates. The second part has the objetive of relating the potential economic and social benefits of the Big Data ecosystem with the proposed strategy.
