FAIR Process Framework

Work by Data-Pop Alliance on steps 1-5 has been integrated into FAIR Process Framework webpage, which offers a comprehensive guide to implementing FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) data principles, designed to enhance data management and collaboration across projects. Developed by the Enabling Data Access (EDA) project team at CABI with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the framework provides a structured six-step process, tools, and real-world examples to help users create effective data management and access plans. It highlights the economic and practical benefits of FAIR practices, showcases success stories like AgriConnect, and addresses challenges through defined intervention strategies. Targeted at program officers, partners, and project teams, the site emphasizes actionable steps for operationalizing responsible data strategies while aligning with open-access commitments to drive impactful, data-rich investments in agriculture and beyond.
