Upcoming Workshop: Web Data Collection and Analysis for IBGE Staff in Rio

From November 25–27, Data-Pop Alliance will lead a hands-on workshop on “Web Data Collection and Analysis: Web Scraping and API Interaction” at the offices of the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

This three-day training is designed specifically for IBGE staff and aims to build internal capacity in leveraging web-based data sources for analysis and policymaking. Participants will gain practical skills in collecting and processing Big Data using tools like web scraping and APIs, reinforcing IBGE’s role as a key institution in Brazil’s data ecosystem.
