Letícia Sakihama De Menezes Hora is a Project and Research Officer at the Technology and Democracy Program at Data-Pop Alliance. She is currently an undergraduate student of Public Policy and Management at University of São Paulo (USP) in São Paulo, Brazil. Additionally, she is a USP/CNPq fellow researching gender and sexuality with a focus on LGBT+ community on internet governance spaces.
Prior to her current role, Letícia worked as a research consultant for the Internet Steering Committee on platform regulation and on systematization of the Netmundial+10 public consultation. Letícia also works in internet governance spaces, being part of Youth Delegation of Brazilian Internet Steering Committee (CGI.br) and as Ambassador of Civic Innovation Program of Open Knowledge Brazil (OKBR).
Her main interests are related to gender and sexuality studies, Internet Governance with a focus on its impacts on vulnerable communities, disinformation and impacts of data and technologies on society.
